The Samsonite Outline Pro is a polypropylene hardside collection with four sizes, dual spinner wheels, and an integrated TSA lock. It’s one of Samsonite’s better-selling hardside collections, and one of the few that never shows up on Amazon. You’ll find it at shop.samsonite.com and select department stores.
Polypropylene is the reason to look at it. Most hardside luggage at this price uses ABS or polycarbonate. Polypropylene is lighter and more impact-resistant than ABS, and it flexes under stress instead of cracking. Samsonite putting that material in a mainstream collection, not a luxury line, is why the Outline Pro gets attention.
The four sizes
Four sizes cover the usual trips. The Global Carry-On is the smallest, sized for international airlines that enforce tighter overhead bins. The standard Carry-On fits US domestic overhead bins. The Medium is a checked bag for week-long trips. The Large, the size that turns up discounted most often, handles extended travel or family packing when you need the volume.
